Circus 2008

Brian and I took Landon to the Circus on Saturday. Ringling Brother's Barnum and Baliey Circus Comes to town I am assuming every year and we decided to take Landon this year. While we were waiting in line to get in, an employee of the circus was in the lobby talking to us about the circus. She told a a few fun facts that I would like to share as well.



She said that when they travel most people ask what hotel they are staying in while they are in town and she said that they actually all, except families that have 2 or more children, live on the train that they travel on to each place they go visit. The families that have 2 or more children live in mobile trailers.



She also said that there are only 2 privatly owned trains in the United States and that Ringling Brother's Barnum and Bailey Circus owns both of them. A "red" train and a "blue" train. (I'm not to sure that the trains are actually colored red and blue)



They actually have 3 groups that perform the circus, a red team, a blue team, and a gold team. She said that each group alternates traveling around to different areas so that way you never see the same performance twice.



I thought those were neat tidbits about the circus.





Landon loved the circus. He had a blast. An hour before the show, you are allowed to go down on the arena floor and meet some of the performers. They have some people doing little performances and some of the animals come out for you to see do little performances as well.
