Rain

I can't tell you the last time we saw rain here but I have to say it was very nice seeing rain today! It was such a wonderful site. After the rain quit, I took the children out for a walk to give them some fresh air, plus I try to take them out before lunch everyday. Since it was wet from the rain we just went for a little walk around the neighborhood. When we walked past the neighborhood pond there were about 3-4 birds that were frolicking in the water of the creek that runs to the pond. They were just a splashing and carrying on, almost like Landon does in the bath or pool. I had never seen birds act like this in the water before, I guess they were just as excited to the rain as most of us are! I wish I had my camera to catch the birds in action. I guess you can say for this Thursday that I am Thankful for the RAIN!
